At wondercakes.in, we strive to ensure every customer is delighted with their purchase. Due to the perishable nature of our products (cakes and desserts), our refund and cancellation policy is outlined as follows:

1. Cancellations

A. Standard Orders (Non-Customized)

  • Cancellation 24 hours or more before the delivery date: A full refund (100%) will be issued.
  • Cancellation between 12 and 24 hours before the delivery date: A refund of 50% of the total order value will be issued.
  • Cancellation less than 12 hours before the delivery date: No refund will be provided, as the preparation and baking process would have already begun or been completed.

B. Customized or Bulk Event Orders

  • Cancellation 72 hours or more before the delivery date: A full refund (100%) will be issued.
  • Cancellation between 48 and 72 hours before the delivery date: A refund of 50% of the total order value will be issued.
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the delivery date: No refund will be provided.

2. Refunds and Returns (Post-Delivery)

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or issue refunds once the cake or dessert has been delivered and accepted by the customer. However, we aim for complete satisfaction, and refunds are considered only in the following specific circumstances:

A. Quality or Damage Issues (Must be reported immediately)

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit or if you have concerns regarding the quality or flavor, you must:

  1. Report the issue immediately (within 1 hour of delivery) by calling us at +91 73865 33211.
  2. Provide clear photographic evidence of the damage or quality issue.
  3. Ensure at least 75% of the product remains intact for our team to assess the concern.

Upon review, if the fault is confirmed to be on our end (e.g., incorrect flavor, significant structural damage, or quality issue), we will, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

  • Full or partial refund.
  • Credit towards your next purchase.
  • Replacement of the product on the next available delivery slot.

B. Wrong Product Delivered

If you receive a product that is completely different from your confirmed order details (e.g., wrong size, wrong theme, or completely wrong product), you must notify us immediately. We will arrange to swap the incorrect item for the correct one as soon as possible, or issue a full refund if a timely replacement is not feasible.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Minor variations in color, design, or decorative elements compared to online images, as all products are handcrafted.
  • Cakes or desserts damaged after acceptance of delivery due to improper handling or storage by the customer.
  • Dissatisfaction with the taste that is subjective and cannot be objectively verified as a quality flaw.
  • Incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer.

4. Processing Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval.
  • The refund will be issued back to the original method of payment used during the purchase.
  • The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account is dependent on your bank or payment processor.
